Welcome to Southwold Golf Club

Southwold is a traditional members golf club offering a warm welcome to all visitors, societies and prospective members. Golf has been played at Southwold for more than 125 years, making it one of the oldest Suffolk golf clubs. Its challenging nine hole heathland layout provides a test for all golfing abilities. Being laid out on free draining soil the course is playable virtually all year round with greens that have received much praise, and are widely regarded as amongst the best in East Anglia.

The course is located only 5 minutes from the town, but the experience of playing at Southwold is only the beginning, with so many sights and things to do on this wonderful part of the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

Come and enjoy a round or a day with us in the friendly relaxed atmosphere that can only be found in a traditional club steeped in history. Our clubhouse with it’s excellent bar and catering facilities are open to all visitors.

New for 2013:  Bring the children to try our 9 hole junior course from the blue tee’s as an introduction to the joy’s of golf.
