Joining Fees as of 1 April 2025 - No capital contribution costs to anyone in full time education.
Junior Membership £40 Up to 16 years
Youth Membership £130 16 – 18 years (or up to the age of 25 if you remain in full time education)
Full Membership Membership depends on age category on 1st April of the membership year.

CASC Membership Request price
Southwold Golf Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club and offers a CASC membership category for those who may have difficulty affording the subs. Please contact the Secretary for more information.
Capital Contribution £120
The club is currently raising capital funds for future projects which included a new irrigation system in 2024 and has asked all members for a contribution of £360 over the last 3 years. We are now in the last year of the levy and 1 payment of £120 is now applicable. This can be paid in one payment of £120 or 10 Payments of £12 by standing order.
Southwold Golf Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), open to the whole community, which means we have:
Membership that is open to all without discrimination
Facilities that are open to all members without discrimination
Fees that do not represent a significant obstacle to membership or use of facilities
In addition, we offer full annual membership at a maximum price of £520, inclusive of equipment hire, for any existing or prospective members who are unable to pay more due to their financial circumstances. Those who wish to take advantage of this reduced price membership can apply in confidence to the Club Secretary/Manager. This category of membership is available upon satisfaction that the full cost of membership is not affordable.
We welcome applications for membership from men and women of all ages and golfing abilities.
Full Adult, Youth and Junior memberships are currently available, with a varying age-related fee structure for those up to the age of 40 or after they become 85.
Country membership is open to those whose main address, registered for electoral purposes, is not within 25 miles of Southwold.
Those who would just like to enjoy facilities of the club house, or the occasional game of golf, may wish to consider taking advantage of our Social or Sunday Afternoon memberships.
Southwold Golf Club does require a levy fee in addition to the first year’s membership subscription.
